This a silly question. The competition was over before it even started. The Roosters have just too much talent when their stars are all fit and playing.

The Roosters pre-purchased this year's comp, in a two for one deal with last year's, in the 2017 off season.

The refs go soft option was thrown in for free by the NRL.

Other.

So many players currently injured in a lot of teams that will finish 4-8.

Some team other than the obvious 3 will go on a run, and get the chocolates.

The Roosters are only one more Keary concussion away from going from favourites to also rans.

Souths hopes similarly rest largely on the frail body of Adam Reynolds. Cody Walker and Damien Cook are equally important but appear to be made of the same stuff as Wolverine.

The point being that injuries will have as big a say in the winning of this competition as any number of individual star players.

I still like the Sharks as the smokey if they can sneak into the top 4 and get their stars on deck for the finals.

Warriors, about to go on a run that will have the game talking about for decades to come. Or maybe not.

But isn't it impossible to go back to back these days due to salary cap restriction?

If storm make the decider we win it IMO. We’d have learned lessons from last year and will want to make up for it

Can’t help but feel it’ll be a bunnies win over Roosters though
