Well, its now the end of the qualifying rounds for 2003, in my opinion the best season in ten years, and who would have thought:

- The Penrith Panthers would win the minor premiership?

- The Canberra Raiders would regain their Green Machine status?

- The Broncos would lose 7 games in a row?

- Crowd records would be broken all year?

- SOO would be a total sellout?

- The Dally M's would be cancelled?

- Parramatta and Cronulla would miss the finals?

- The Bunnies would get the wooden spoon?

- The Cowboys would finish with two less wins than the Broncos?

- Rhys Wesser would break Brett Mullin's fullback try-scoring record?

- Stadium priority would be given to an AFL side in Sydney?

- The knights would win a few games without Andrew Johns?

- A kid named Billy Slater would become a household name?

- The Golden Point would be a success?

- Rugby League would bounce back stronger than ever from last year's crisis?

A very eventful year overall, and certainly one that will be remembered for all the right reasons. And it ain't over yet!

I've always though that a lot of them would happen! The Broncos were a surprise... The Cowboys weren't... I always thought they would do well this year.

golden point a success?
i dont know i didnt really like this idea and although its been exciting, a drawn game can still be exciting in its own right. Plus for a team to go 80 minutes and draw with another team, and then get nothing for it, i dont think thats right.

BUT... i agree with with the rest, especially the bunnies, who would of thought that ;-)
