Going back a few years before the emergence of Lui & Moltzen as halfback, why did we not sign Nathan Fein? We would have had the New Zealand halves pairing without the blowing the bank.

I find it very interesting so many people are nominating Gordon. If my memory serves me correctly he was there for the paoching at the end of last year. The Panthers were trying to keep Pritchard and didn't stump up a decent offer to Gordon. I don't know what they paid but I think we missed a good signing.

If we are wanting to pay Adam Blair $500,000 per season then Darius Boyd is well and truly worth $600,000 per season and better still he`s currently available.
Boyd is without doubt in the top 10 players in the game and still improving rapidly, he would ensure we have the best spine in the game without any shadow of doubt.

We already have plenty of good up and coming forwards, no need for Adam Blair, we need another genuine match winner in the backline, this is the area we are currently lacking in class!

Boyd is rubbish. If he didn't play that 1 single wrap play that Bennett uses with all his fullbacks, you wouldn't think him any better than Beau Ryan. Jesus Christ, even our defence last week made him look worse than ordinary simply by getting up in his face and knowing his play.

Yeah he`s terrible, that`s why he plays for Australia, Queensland, he`s the most influential attacking player in the best performed side in the competition for the past 2 seasons, has blinding speed, good ball paying ability, defends as well as any back in the game and is as good as any other fullback under the high ball.

Put him in our side and he`d make a huge difference, don`t worry about that.

Does anyone else think we are light on on in the front row? Therefore I would say, any of the 4 QLD front row? Or anyone else who is dominant through the middle & runs hard & straight. This would be a great addition to Woods, Fifita & Galloway.

I do think that the signing of Blair makes little sense, as we seem to be very well covered in the back row?

Yeah do agree, especially if we are not going to use Blair in the FR? I would have liked to get David Taylor, still young, but just looks the goods.
