I started following league in 1997 I will never forget the 1997 ARL GF. Then I went to several St. George games at Jubilee the following year. Balmain (where the blackout happned) and Thommo got in a punch up and thats when I fell in love with the red head. Also went to games against Canberra where Mundine had a blinder and against Parramatta which was a draw.

Hey you said you were just curious. ;-)

Saints. Although from 6-10 I went for Dragons, Raiders & Roosters lol.

Only REALLY started to follow it passionately in 1999. Picked a good f*cking year for it.

St George. Mick Potter used to buy electrical gear off my old man (he was a sparkie or some kind of tradie) so when I was 7 I got my Steeden signed by the 1992 St George squad ... wore them off in about 2 weeks. Got to go in the sheds for a Penrith game (93 I think ...).

Free stuff is one way to win over a kid.

early 90s i got to experience kogarah oval for the first time vs manly. we lost.

I guess it was a sign of things to come.

Wouldn't want to follow anyone else, ever.

Its a strange question. There was no stop-start in my support for St George, no crossroad. I fully respect the Illawarra and recognise their continuing history. But I have always supported St George and continue to support St George.

St George since I was little kid, but I've always had a soft spot for the Steelers, being a Wollongong lad. I'm not sure I have quite the passion for the Dragons that I once had for the mighty saints, but it has undergone somewhat of a revival this season.

st george since 1988. being a Mediterranean Descendant my dad never took me 2 any games unless it was soccer. so i had 2 watch the dragons under cover untill i turned 15. he still hates the fact i go for the dragons and gives me plenty when we dont win by at least 20. anything under that and he says it was a fluke.

Steelers.

That explains a lot :D. Me obviously the mighty Dragons, was born on St.George Day, St.George Hospital and we won the comp the year I was born 1979. I've been a Dragon since berth and will always be one :D.
