Hi guys,
I just want to know who you think is the best centre in the world.
I know there is going to be a bit of bias.

On his day it's O'Driscoll hands down.

However he seems to have gone into a bit of a shell since they gave him the captaincy.

2-3 years ago, Tana Umaga by the length of State Highway 2.

I watched McAlister tonight, looks a very classy act. He and Ma'a Nonu are think will become the next big hit as far as centres go.

mcAlister isn't a centre though, he looked quite good last night. But from where i was standing he did get caught out of position two or three times.

Doubt he will ever play centre for the All Blacks.

Agreed, Umaga is simply unstoppable when he's on... So is O'Driscoll, but Umaga has more presence... Mortlock is a fantastic player, but he's not as good as either of the other 2 in my opinion.

Mapasua and Tuitavake both need to learn how to pass a ball, the Highlanders wingers wernt given any ball against the Blues despite the mid field combo breaking the advantage line on several occasions.
Anyone know how long Mortlock is out for? It's a shame injuries have hampered his career, he's Australias most lethal back when fit.

O'Driscoll by so much it is not funny. He won the game tonight by himself- setting up that try, and soring it. Her has played at fly-half at stages in his career. He kicks drop goals. His kicking game is fantastic. What more can you want. He is the perfect player. Both the others have their strenths but none of them is as versatile and as game breaking as O'Driscoll!

Thats why i would put Mapusua to the bench, move McIntyre to second five. So there would be a midfield combo that compliments eachother.
