Its close between Lebron, Nash and Kobe. Also other players who deserve a mention are Chris Paul, Dirk Nowitzki and Dwayne Wade. Paul has basically turned the whole New Orleans franchise around in his rookie season. Definently will be a future All-star and possible MVP winner.

Ben Gorden or Kobe. Kobe would be clear favorite if his team wasnt kobe and the scrubs

Kobe will not be winning the MVP.
Nash will get it. Apart from Marion and Amare (who played 2 games) th rest of the team is new.
Diaw.....who.
Barbosa....who.
House....who.
Bell....who.

These guys have all increased their scoring and performances and it is all credit to S Nash. Plus they have won their division and will post 53-54 wins.

Out of Nash, LeBron, Nowitzki and Kobe at a stretch. I think LeBron will win for a number of reasons. Hes the most gifted athlete the game has seen since Jordan. Nash will struggle to win back to backs, because back to backs very seldom happen. Plus the fact Phoenix realistically won't win the championship this year makes it even more unlikely. And the NBA probably wish to avoid the whole racism issue that came up with Nash winning it last season, and would surely occur again if he wins it over LeBron and Kobe.

I hear everytime Nash takes a sh*t, it starts raining in drought stricken areas. Then the time he sneezed and suddenly made some autistic kid hit 6 three's, that was good too. Man, Nash just improves everything around him. He makes his teammates, your teammates, other teams teammates and the World better. Look at today's game, he only had 13 points and 13 assists and made the Sonics better to the point where they beat the Suns! What a guy.

I dont see how Kobe could be MVP with his philosophy of shot 1st pass later, he hasnt made any of his team mates better

kobe was asked who he would vote for, kobe says: kobe bryant. then asked if he couldn't vote for anyone: 'then i wouldn't vote'.

Here's why Kobe Bryant can't be MVP. On Dec. 28, he commits a premeditated flagrant foul on Mike Miller (elbow to the neck), Miller makes the two free throws and the Grizzlies win 100-99 in overtime. Then Bryant brags about the elbow and gets suspended two games, which become two losses to Utah. One elbow, three Ls.

I'm leaning LeBron, 50 wins without Hughes for a good part of the season is quite amazing.

What a stupid post. Even if you don't feel Nash is MVP, you can't deny he has made an ordinary group of players much better this year, especially with all the injuries.
