I recently bought some tickets for a long distance train. My elderly father does not like catching planes anymore and wanted to go to sisters 50th wedding anniversary, in Townsville so wanted to catch a train. I had never been on a Queensland long distance train so thought hey why not.
Why buying the tickets online, I was amazed and bemused that I could not buy tickets unless I informed them wether I was male or female.
Seriously what difference does it make?
Can anyway explain why Queensland Rail cares if I am male or female?
