Why don't we get any calls?

Blatant grapples in two games now (Eisunhuth against Dogs and Flanno against Panthers) reap no reward when they are always penalties for other teams, especially if we are guilty of a grapple.

No sin bin for obvious professional foul on Flanno......

These are always deadset gimmies ..... Unless it is us that will benefit. 😡

The forearm onto the throat of Leilua also, didnt even get mentioned.. not only was it not penalised or binned.. but we lost the ball instead.

I hate the way it works for us shit teams.. nsw cup was similar, all sorts of crazy penalties went against us.. thankfully we were by far the better team.

The good thing about last night, Saints got bad calls but the boys did not fold like other weeks. They still defended strongly after the calls were made. That is what they need to do as these bad calls will continue to happen unfortunately. If they lose a tight one on an obvious bad call I am sure Flanno will then have every reason to rip into them but if they get flogged he can really do nothing as they will look at the scoreline and say the bad calls have no bearing on the results.

I've seen a few where it's play on and not only our team.

I am just over seeing the Roosters run out a team which is at least 50% over the salary cap, regardless of whether SOO players in or not (ie they replace Tedesco with Manu) , and then get most of the calls in the game.
Yes, this. It really riles me that this club year on year just always has gun payers who must be on big coin but yet maintain their salary cap is in order of the stewards and the NRL auditor whomever that is. You wait and see. They will already have their sights on a "marquee" half/5/8th to take Keary's place next year plus several more to replace the likes of Sua'ali'i etc.

I honestly detest that club as much as the Bulldogs.

Watching the game between the Cows and them just turned me off and so I turned the game off.

I decided to check the scores and it showed 16 all. A little later I checked again and it was 18-16 Cows. I turned on the game and the Cows held on and luckily the ref didn't penalise the Cows on the last play so you little ripper. The Roosters with all their moolah rich players got done. So now it completes my weekend of joy with the Dragons coming from behind to beat the Panthers and the Cows likewise from behind to beat the Roosters. Yeeeaaah!:)

The only downside DD is that the win moved the Cows ahead of the Dragons on the ladder! I really hope that the Dragon's terrible for and against score doesn't come back to bite them!

Yes i noticed that OED, which is unfortunate. The competition this year appears to be one in which no team is really dominating and each team capable of being beaten.

We need to build on what I believe Flanno has worked out with his assistants on how we can be more consistent and resilient in our games.

I think that better results will come our way throughout this year.

They didn't replace Tedesco with Manu, they replaced him with Blake Steep on the bench and brought in Jennings from the bench into Manu centre position, so if anything their team was weakened...

my point is they have 2 of the best 5 fullbacks in the world in their backline. They also have Sualli, Keary, Walker, Tupo, and then bring in the pommie guy from Newcastle. I think they can absorb Jennings, who is no slouch either.
