Why the East was lost ?

Anyone in the know as to why the three clubs based in the eastern suburbs of Brisbane - all forfeited last week ?

Was there an actual cause ..or was it just a quirky coincedence ?

Bulimba especially unusual as table toppers.

Hearing word that a lot of players across the three clubs are in the mining industry as FIFO's and the schedules between work and play didn't match up on this occassion. Might be an ongoing issue.

Know a few teams in the Toowoomba comp have had similiar situations.

lol @ arana hills who played and lost by a bigger margin than the forfeits.

Bulimba say that it was due to extrmely high injury list, and they couldnt use their reserves as the 2nds were in a final??

Another weekend of forfeits last weekend !

Pretty dissappointing for what is probably the 3rd tier of comp in Brisbane. So not exactly pub footy.
