Why we won't lose Hindy!

Just is just an opinion, but I think you will find that at the end of next season we have plenty of first graders off contract that will have to take a pay cut. The exception to the rule is obviously Hindmarsh.


I haven't got a current listing of players off contract in 2005 but I am sure Vella, and Cayless are both off contract, and possibly Burt from memory.

Between the 3 of them alone I'm sure they could find an additional 100K per year to go Hindmarsh's way.

Would be suprised to see any other club offer over 500K per season for the big fella. The only other danger I guess is Yawion!!

Burt and Ashley Graham both signed a 2 year deal at the start of this season.

Given they were both under contract for this year.....that would have them coming off contract at the end of 06?

Wags is off at the end of next year as well? He might be under the pump a bit with morrison and mateo emerging.

I was thinking of putting together a spreadsheet to keep track of contract expiries, but never seem to get around to it.

A lot of players are coming off contract at the end of next year, though some seem to think they're off contract already (Vaealiki, Dykes, Armit). Morris and Wagon are another couple off contract, as will be Eric Grothe, Dean Widders and Luke O'Dwyer. I'm sick of all this chopping and changing though, i'd like to see us make an effort to keep a strong side together for once, assuming they do well next yr.
