Bought the latest Fhm mag and its got 3 points for each team on why they wont succeed so i thought i might share some with you each day:

Panthers: Campbell is a whippet and craig gower thrives on injuries like a latter day ray price. But they won last year because all the other descent halves in the comp were broken.

Moreover, their 2003 GF win was a total fluke and they would have been murdered if the tri colours had kicked to potential and scott satler hadnt made that last tackle (and hes gone off to wests).

their packs tough-as-teak-ness is exemplified by their forwards willigness to get smashed but get back up again. this is because thre all exceptionally thick: not always a disadvantage in league, but time may count against them.

Lost no players to origin last year and coasted through. no such luck this time.

Tommorrow the Roosters. :D

I thought SAttler was the modern day Steve Jackson (89 GF scored the winning try in extra time)

a 1 play wonder
