Just watched the Wigan v St.Helens game on Fox2, was really impressed with the fight and determination shown by Wigan in winning the game. How good could Newton be if he got rid of the cheap shit out of his game...

How are the clubs thought of over there?

Are there clubs like say Manly that everone hates bar there fans and so forth..

What do people think of London?

Most people dont mind London to be honest !!! well i dont anyway !! they are not a really big threat to any of the Top teams !! Wigan are hated by saints and saints are hated by Wigan thats how it goes !!! i dont mind either unless they are playing Leeds, then i despise them !!!!! :D

Wigan and Saints playerts raise their game when they play each other.Wigan usually raise it more especially on Good Friday,as they inevitably win.Leeds and Bradford are big rivals as well and their is a long-stnading argument over which is the best game.Warrington and Widnes are pretty nasty to each other too,but not really on the same level as the two before.Other than that, there isn't really a club that everyone hates.

That's not necesarily true.Huddersfield,Leigh and Warrington IIRC all voted to keep London in while Bradford voted to kick them out.I personally like London and think they are vital for the comp.

alot of hatred tends to come leeds way these days...arrogant this, arrogant that, cheating this, cheating that...blah blah and other such ramblings.
Saints probably won't be hated for being successfull but more the fact they always seem to bring the game into disrepute, and their coach Millward is a bit of a tit to say the least, but they play exciting rugby 8)

Put another way St Helens are a rock n' roll band who just don't give a fu£k and Leeds are a Gareth Gates, with every bandwaggon jumper pilling on until it all fizzles out.

Go away and think of something better, at least we manage to pull in the bandwaggoners, even with only 1 title in 30 years, whereas you on the other hand..........

St Helens are disliked because of Millward, who is more than a bit of a tit. He not only regularly brings the game into disrepute, but thanks to the spineless RFL, he gets away with it.

Without Ian Millward Super League would be mundane and boring. He makes it special, he provides the spark.

At the bottom of it all he is a passionate rugby league man who would do anything to talk up the sport, and regularly does. He will also use any means possible to promote the chances of St Helens being successful, but thats his job.

People may loathe him now, but when Ian Millward is no longer in Super League, they will miss him. Every story needs a bad guy!
