Will Brian Smith take us full circle?

I see 2001 as being the peak of Brian Smith's stint at Parra and it was his 5th full season at Parra. We are now 11 rounds into the 3rd year of a 5 year contract extension Smith was granted towards the end of 2001. If Smith see's out his contract until the end of 2006 he will have been head coach for 10 years. It's funny (well not really) but the way we are headed I think he may actually take the club full circle and we'll be firmly planted to the bottom half of the table by 2006 as we were in 1996. In 1995 we were 2nd last

1995 - 2nd last.
1996 - 13th of 20; missed the finals.
- Brian Smith's Reign -
1997 - 3rd of 12; knocked out 2nd week of finals after 2 straight losses.
1998 - 4th of 20; lost semi-final to Canterbury.
1999 - 2nd of 17; lost semi-final to Melbourne.
2000 - 7th of 14; lost semi-final to Brisbane.
2001 - 1st of 14; lost grand-final to Newcastle.
-----
2002 - 6th of 14; knocked out first week of finals by Brisbane.
2003 - 9th of 14; missed the finals.
2004 - looking pretty bleak but still early days...
2005 - ?
2006 - ?

This game against St George is vital if we play well and win the season could be back on track.

Showing Smith that Wagon should not play 5/8. But I believe that the only reason he is at lock is to cover for Hindy. He will return to 5/8 the next game.

I hope that's not the case. Smith should have realised that after last week Dykes can not do all the creative playmaking on his own and he needs some pressure taken off him. Hopefully this is the case.

And what's he doing at 5 pm?

i'm quite sure 4pm means "for Prime Minister"

in terms of the title of this thread, if Smith can't do it, hic, le Wagon Wheel can bring us full circle (sorry, couldn't resist)
