On paper we still can mate. And remember year 2000. Jets had been knocked out of eight spot by Penrith on for and against. Penrith knew they had to beat Cronulla by about 30 and did so, to take eight spot, then go on to make the grandfinal from that position against Canterbury.

It still can be done. However we have to win the next few games without a doubt, and by as much as possible.

Given there are 6 rounds to go and 3 of those against top 4 sides it doesnt look the best. If we play as well as we did against BRET in round 5 we can do it. We of course are missing Lewis & Soward from that team so the result on Monday should be a good indicator of the impact of their loss.
