My thoughts exactly. But Cleary still has to win premierships and dominate Origin.A good player but not a great. Couldn't tackle and his CC medal belongs to Michael Morgan
The kid is 23. Plenty of time.My thoughts exactly. But Cleary still has to win premierships and dominate Origin.
The fact that he once picked up rubbish in the sheds and put itThurston is probably the greatest human that ever lived.
Like Cronk, with both of them most of their greatness came in the back half of their careers.Johnathan Thurston was twice the ball player that Johns was
There's no probably about itThurston is probably the greatest human that ever lived.
Thurston is probably the greatest human that ever lived.
In the loose unit department, he's the GOAT.It takes a few years after a player retiring for their true legacy to be measured. Thurston is a prime example. The talk about him being the greatest player of all time and an immediate immortal have dropped off significantly in the few short years he’s been retired, just as it did previously with Lockyer.
Johns has been retired for 15 years and is still rated as highly as ever by all except the most biased of Queenslanders. Thurston and Lockyer were great players but weren’t on his level. Not sure if anyone is.
Hopefully they got it on cameraThe fact that he once picked up rubbish in the sheds and put it
in a bin confirms this.
They did...Hopefully they got it on camera
They did...
I've seen it...
And it's magnificent.
He had a terrible diet, once watched him devour three hot dogs and a pint of coke at a pre season game in Perth!Thurston is probably the greatest human that ever lived.
