Could be anything.... Has grown out of being a Rhino. Needs professional coaching to keep his career on point... Needs to move elsewhere if he wants that to come to fruition. Unless there's a change at parra

Was hyped up at a young age, and talked about as a future leader... but showing absolutely no leadership when the going got tough this season.

Agree that he might have reached the peak of his natural talents, and needs some coaching to develop his game away from just being an average plodder. (Private schoolboy will probably end up in union for his next contract anyway...)

Good thread. He was at fault for 2 of the 1st half Brisbane tries last week. His defensive lapses have hurt us. He is dangerous in attack with a retreating defence or in space but our forwards don’t really ever offer that opportunity. He’s Not likely to create something from nothing like Joey Manu can.

Then he come compounds it at 6-all with a dropped cold after a roosters try.

We defended well in that first 25 mins and the Roosters attack hasn't been great leading in.

Will left the gate open and then basically let them waltz in at 6-all with the cold drop no FG player should be doing on 2nd tackle carting it off there try line.

Well I disagree tonight the ball game changed in the space of 5 mins through 2 crucial Penisni errors.

Roosters got a leg up through those 2 mistakes.

I can cop the the mistake scoring the try but the cold drop carting it out was inexcusable.

He has played what 55/56 games it's simply unacceptable.

I would almost drop him next week as a statement for next year on what he needs to improve.

We ain't making finals and getting dropped for 1 game isn't the end if the world. If he spits the dummy he clearly doesn't have the right attitude to belong here.

Going very well for a 21-year-old. And like most outside backs, he looks a lot better when his team has the ball than when they don't.

I reckon he will be one of the best centres in the comp once he f**ks off to like the Roosters or some shit and get's some actual coaching into him.

I think it is easy to point to the outside backs and say they have defensive issues.

But how long can we keep saying the same thing about every single player? Every single winger the past 10 years is 'weak' defensively, and all the centres get 'shown up' at times.

Perhaps they are just doing what they got taught to do? Or perhaps what they have been taught to do doesn't work on the field?

Re: Will - I think he has played well this year, he has all the tools to be a very good centre. I think he is pretty decent defensively, but the rush up and in leaves the outside backs on an island far too often. Needs a new system defensively to work in

Penisni is a good kid. Young and will get better. Unsure if he reaches origin level but I wouldn't rule him out yet.
