Will Souths be fined?

Sam Burgess clearly took a knock to the head in the first half and Souths kept him on the field for 10mins until halftime where he failed his HIA.
With the fines issued recently surely Souths will be fined too.

Lol?
It happened in the 37th minute. There was a mix up as the doctor was at the time seeing to another player. He was then taken off shortly after and ruled out of the game.

They literally explained the delay in the commentary during the game. The doctor was already assessing someone in the sheds when Sam copped the knock. It was cleared by the NRL then and there.

Was I the only one who chuckled a bit when they said this?

No one else at the ground could tell he was just rattled from a head knock?

Not suggesting they should be fined but c'mon you don't need a PHD to tell when a bloke's been rattled from head knock.

Souths are not owned by NRL or News so there is no opportunity for Greenberg to speak really slowly and seriously whilst actually doing nothing.

Does Sam actually take part in any play?
He concussed in a tackle at about 36 and a half minutes. He stays down. Shortly after that roosters receive a penalty and kick for goal. By the time the game kicks back off its already in the 39th minute. When the camera pans to the sideline with 10 seconds left in the half Sam is already off. So while there was a delay to get Sam off while the doctor was busy with another player, there wasn't actually much play going on. Unlike the cases last week that were heavily fined, Sam never played on after the hit

Apparently at the time it happened he waived off the trainer.

It won't be long before players learn to waive off trainers if they are not completely axed.

Also, I can see groggy players trying to defeat the slow to rise rule and get back in to the defensive line before the trainer arrives, which will result in much wobbly leg running and drunk swerving trying to get their legs working.

Talk about not a good look for the game.

Anyway, Souths shouldn't be fined.
