Well Alf played last night, scored a try and kicked two goals. His kicking may have been off as the Jets scored 8 times to beat Woy Woy 40-20.

2 True Blues I was merely speculating why Alf may have been ommitted from the named side. I don't konow because I don't really get involved with that side of things. My point was that sometimes we are forced to drop in form players that you wouldn't otherwise think of dropping because of the points system in JBC. Yes it does suck but that's the rules.

I know exactly what you meant, and where you were coming from, however I suppose you get my point also.

Top weekend of footy by the Jets again. Two great wins.

Top way to start the week I reckon, still cant wipe the smile off my face.

When we were up by two trys against Parra and they evened up the scores after that dodgey refs call, I felt sick in the stomach, however knowing we were the better side all day did not give up hope. Could bairly stand up with bloody flu, but would not have missed that game if I had to be conveyed by the ambo's.

The yell from the crowd was awesome when Cliff went over to win the game on the last set of six. Sell the movies rights now....what a fricken legend game.

Parra to their credit are a top side, and they nevered waivered or looked tired in the whole 80 minutes, they just kept coming at us, and the pace was definately nothing short of 1st grade stuff for the full hard hitting 80. Was tired just watching the boys go round. Best game of footy ( regardless of the result ) that I have ever seen two Premier league teams play. Reckon either side could have given most 1st grade teams a good run on their performances on Saturday.

To their credit our boys never lost faith, and it was the true Bluebag guts and glory that came out when most required. Top stuff Newtown, you are all bloody legends...

Parra have some good players dont they. Henry PERENARA who played for New Zealand in 2001, Chad ROBINSON who played for Easts in the 2003, and 2004 NRL grandfinal, Centre Luke O'DWYER and Winger Luke ABRAHAMS have plenty of experience, and A. GRAHAM always seem to find the try line.

To name but a few. They are definately the side to beat this year, it is little wonder they are leading the Prem/League comp.

Jets were awesome but, and can definately hold their own.

GO YOU GOOD THING.....
