Williams' career is on death row

Some people are feeling uneasy about the adjournment of the hearing into Danny Williams' case at the NRL judiciary. In my opinion this is a storm in a teacup (pun unintended).

If anything, it leaves Williams to stew a little longer. He knows he is going to get rubbed out no matter what, & he would like to know sooner rather than later exactly where he stands. The delay hinders any chance he might have to link up with an ESL team, should any still be interested.

His defence is ridiculous. It's clutching at straws. Everyone knows this, including Williams. The judiciary is just going through due process so when they rightfully come down hard on him, no-one can claim that it was a knee jerk reaction fuelled by media hype.

Williams' career is on death row.

Maybe it is a storm in a tea cup, but it's still a sham.

What if Mark O'Neill had reacted to the hit Danny Williams put on him in the first round clash in Melbourne.

Do you think our bloke would would have made the same lame excuse.

I think not.

This is lower than the act itself.
