London Broncos forward Danny Williams, who made his comeback from an 18-match suspension at Easter, was today handed a one-match ban after being found guilty of a reckless high tackle.

The 30-year-old former Melbourne Storm back rower appeared before the Rugby League's disciplinary committee after being placed on report during the Broncos' 26-12 Powergen Challenge Cup fifth-round win at Salford on Sunday.

The Irish World Cup forward, who was suspended last season for 18 matches for striking an opponent in Australia's National Rugby League, will miss his club's engage Super League game at Huddersfield on Sunday. He was also fined £300.

Just a reminder, this is the "thug" who king hit the unexpecting West Tigers Mark O'Neill in 2004 where he copped the 18 game suspension.

Danny "the thug cross coward" Williams notches up another week off the field because of his own doing  Moron...

Perhaps P.T.A. struck again Danny boy?
