Found this on the Warriors site might show why Wiki signed and Price who no one ever thought would leave the dogs is giving serious thought about leaving the dogs . I wonder how WTS go about enticing players.
Actually, I think Mick Watson, Spiro Tsiros, Don Mann and Eric Watson deserve massive applause for the way they've handled this.
Their acumen in even knowing the logistics of Steve Price's contract was very good, no other club seemed to pick it up.
The way they have sent a signed #11 jersey to Wiki, sent the both of them videos from all members of the club saying how much they'd mean to them, apparently Price's big concern was how his family would fit in so the Warriors flew in Jo Price for four days, showed her schools, sat her in the players partners corporate box for the Eels game and let her mingle with the other players partners (good move), helped her select real estate, the personally signed Once Were Warriors DVD Eric Watson asked Temuera Morrison and Cliff Curtis to send which featured a special intro from Temuera saying how Ruben was the true "Jake the Muss", having Stacey ring both Steve and Ruben to tell them personally how much they'd mean to him... quite frankly, absolutely astounding and I think the club deserves massive credit.
Steve Price would never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever seriously considered leaving the Bulldogs, until we managed this situation beautifully both through being perceptive and understanding the logistics of his contract, the important factor for him (his family) and the emotional plea from the players has now got Steve at least very very very seriously considering coming to the Warriors.
For that, I guess this shows some of the finer skills in Cullen Sports and the Warriors management. If they pull both these signatures off, they have done outstandingly well and should be very proud of themselves. As we should of them.
