Word has it that big Fijian Parramatta centre Wise Kativerata, is being chased by the Cowboys. After being dogged by injury earlier in the season, performing below his best in the first few games, he is now on fire at Parramatta scoring over 6 tries in PL in the past few games.
Sources up north connected to the club suggests the boom centre/winger who was on a 1 year deal at Parra, maybe seen at the Cowboys playing a pivotal role either in the centres or on the bench as a utility player.
Playing at around 100kg the very fast Fijian flyer may also be seeing Manly his home with rumours suggesting he is being looked at as a handy utlity player on the bench covering the backs and forwards.
As a former committee member of a club with a respect for islander talent, although I haven't met Wise as yet, I have watched him rise to an excellent player, with a bit of bad luck holding him back. I have recently called on Parra to select him but with this news will now back off as it seems other club coaches can see the talent.
Not sure who his manager is, but no doubt he will announce a decision as soon as possible.
