Will this be Michael Witt's final season or hopefully he'll be resigned for another year. Sam Williams is horrible.

Seriously? No... It will not be his final season. Whether he's with the red V will depend on whether we sign a better player. At the moment we don't have anyone that's close to Witt.

Witt is not the future but would be handy to keep around for a couple of years.

Agree Minh.....good half backs it seems are hard to find at the moment...but having said that we really need to grow somebody in the role and sooner rather than later

Yes for sure, a good half pairing up with Widdop and this team would come on in leaps and bounds. A hard nut prop or two would be nice too, although we may have a good one in the making in Cooper.

Absolutely mate......I know i keep harping on about it but you wait till the weather cools off more, Cooper will grow another leg.......he reminds me of the old English forwards.....nothing pretty but grinds away

Williams to me isn't the answer he is just to hit and miss just not consistant enough to be a regular first grader maybe I'm being to harsh.

There's a posibility he will mature this year with the influence of Widdop. I think he has a lot of potential though I don't think he's quite quick enough but probably our best option for the next 2-3yrs. Klume in the 20's looks pretty composed and confident and I wonder if Dufty has always been a fullback as he is electric

I think Witt will be our halfback yet I would really like to see quinlan be our future half. It would be a big call and may well backfire but I see him killing it for us as he matures. Unfortunately Williams does not have first grade quality yet. I would be putting time into quinlan under Witt and widdop. On the bench for a while.

I was 1 who was pushing Quinlan as a half and he could very well be as his physical attributes suit but he has to learn how to guide a team around so maybe he should spend some time at 7 in the Cutters but thats not likely to happen

When is Shannon Crook returning from injury?
Honestly ive been trying to watch this 'next big thing' kid for 2 yrs, is he injury prone or unlucky or?

Same thing with Cummins before he left.. seemed like 2 straight seasons he was out.

maybe, but I agree with you - has been given chances t establish himself by now. He didn't fit in at the Raiders & severely lacks confidence or the ability to consistently make the right decision when he has the ball.

Spoke tonight with a kid who played 20s for us last year, he said Crook came back from his ACL in the first few rounds, but due to the form of young Clune (who represented NSW U16s a couple of years ago) he's been kept out of the side, now playing for Corrimal Cougars. Not sure what affect the injury had on him, but I watched him with interest last year and he was a weapon.

Based on the weekend, the team could use him, as their 5th tackle options were bad and they lacked someone straightening the attack. We've got him signed til end of next year, so hopefully he gets a run soon, if he has regained his speed after the ACL I'd hate to lose him.
