I was watching a bit of the Aussie game last night when the most incredible thing I've ever seen on a Football field of any code happened.
The ball came toward the Equatorial Guinea goal, hit the post, bounced back into the field of play and was picked up by an Equatorial Guinea defender. She just simply grabbed the ball in both hands, looked around non-plussed then dropped it on the ground. The EG Goalie then picked the ball up and played on.
No whistle, no penalty, no nothing.
