Wooden Spoon uncomfortably close

The Warriors got up today and we're now only two points from the wooden spoon! And here I've been cheering for the likes of Manly, Rabbits, Tigers and Warriors over the last couple of weeks.

We're 2 wins ahead of Manly - if we win just 1 more game this year that'd mean they'd have to win 3 to get ahead of us.... no chance....

Yeah, we're not spoon contenders - we're a class above Rabbitohs, Eagles, and Warriors this season. You just have to look at their for and against differences.

hey - look at the table - it's not the number of wins that reflect the teams positions on the table (that will only happen at the end of Round 26). But, if you look at the number of games lost the table is in order? I wonder if thats been the case throughout the season?


oh - my feeling is Manly going to get the spoon this year. (what a difference a new coach & board has had for Manly this year ;-))

As for the finals, a win this weekend ( [-o< ) will mean we are in the same position as if we had beat the cowboys and lost to the storm. considering the storm was a game i had factored in dropping, things might not be as bad as they seem. We just need that win this weekend!

I'm pretty sure they give a trophy out for the club championship (which we've won for the past few years I believe?)

I'm pretty sure we won the Sevens tournament a couple of times since Brian has been coach?

I don't think his trophy cabinet is empty - just missing the big one so far!
