Brazil and Paraguay, with victories Wednesday evening, will decide who takes the zone B South American title Saturday afternoon.
São Paulo- Brazil Wednesday 13/10/2004- The Brazilian and Paraguayan national rugby selections once again won their matches for the IV South American Rugby B Championship with comfortable margins. Both teams beat their opposition by74-0. At 17:30 in the first game of the round. The Paraguayan side defeated Peru 74 - 0 (First half 30-0) with thirteen tries of which three were converted plus a penalty.
The Brazilians followed at 19:30 beating the Colombian selection also by 74-0 (First half 31-0), scoring twelve tries with five conversions.
This leaves the decision of the tournament to Saturday the 16th when Colombia plays Peru and Brazil faces Paraguay.
