World Cup Referees

I am assuming that a pom will be officiating in any Australian matches not involving England and a Australian Ref will be in charge of all other games...

Who will officiate in Melbourne? Is Glen Black getting a run..??

Will they be training up some PNG Refs, or some French Refs....

If they have a Australia vs England final, it will look silly to have a Australian or Pommy ref in charge....

Does anyone think they have factored this in...?? The world will be watching and it will be jumped on by media...

the best thing to do would be to draft a couple of french & kiwi refs into super league and NRL for the season to get them upto speed..

Looking into my taro cards, and I can see some names coming through; Tony Archer, Sean Hampstead, Ashley Klein, Steve Ganson doing the super pool games and the later rounds. Maybe a frenchie or a kiwi being given the odd game involving the other groups.

Klein to get the final, 'cos the aussies will argue he's neutral.
