Six players from new NRL premiers Manly were Tuesday named in the Australian squad for the rugby league World Cup.
They include four uncapped players - forwards Glenn Stewart, Anthony Watmough and Josh Perry and winger David Williams.
They join Sea Eagles teammates Brent Kite and Stewart's brother Brett in coach Ricky Stuart's 25-man squad, which also includes five players from Sunday's beaten NRL grand finalists Melbourne.
The Storm are represented by Michael Crocker, Israel Folau, Greg Inglis, Cameron Smith and Billy Slater.
The potential Test debutantes are Stewart, Perry, Watmough, Williams, Canberra backs Terry Campese and Joel Monaghan and Gold Coast forward Anthony Laffranchi.
Brisbane's Darren Lockyer has been named as captain. No Hunt or Thaiday. Despite Benny seeming to think it's ok to pick them, I am glad the Australian selectors don't agree.

No Ando which is a surprise, but I suppose the Kiwis have plenty of depth in the forwards.

Frenzy.

Misi and Ando will be there somewhere. Tonga or Samoa or whoever it is they are dual qualified for.

Unless of course Ando is injured which I think might be the case.

Still can't believe the Cov is not in the Kiwi side. Oh well f**k the Kiwi's.
Cov did his elbow playing for them last year so its better for us he doesn't play I guess.

The very fact that most of you probably will find plenty of disagreenment with this team is the same reason we'll no doubt win this trophy. Too much depth.
