Good to see you have Dean Whare in there. He's the best centre in the world.

Bromwich is the best prop in the world so he should be in there IMHO.

I'd have O'Loughlin ahead of Gillett. Very underrated player, his ball playing is all class especially for a second rower and never misses many tackles. Reminds me a lot of Andy Farrell.

Had to find my login password after reading this thread.

You guys are fools if you don't have Bromwich in there. He's easily the best prop in the game right now and should be Man of the Series from the Four Nations.

James Graham and Jessie Bromwich are the best two props in the world. Matt Scott gets the bronze.

a team of the 4nations would make interesting reading.....virtually no aussies...GI would make it on reputation alone...

infact there'd be more samoans than aussies i reckon

Yes, but that's different from a World XIII. You are right though, only GI and possibly Cam Smith would have any chance.

However, you can't ignore Scott, Thurston, Slater, Inglis etc. while talking about a World XIII. Some of the older guys are on borrowed time though.

slater didn't do much this year i don't think..

plus as i keep saying this australia team that lost on saturday won't be a million miles away from the australia team that'll surfaces again in 2016...slater,thurston,cronk & smith will all be 33 and will likely have retired from internationals to squeeze another season or 2 out of their club careers...infact all the injured aussies miss this comp will be over 30 in 2016...dads army if you persist...and considering how good and how young NZ & ENGLAND are it begs the question can australia risk chucking in the old guard??

It is indeed interesting times ahead for Australia, having to transition from this golden age. You'd be mad to think they won't still be the best overall team around, but for all that was made out about the young inexperienced australian team... at a guess, was it still the oldest in the 4N? I know when Australia and England played that England were a touch younger.

slaters been a legend but now im afraid hes past his best, Tomkins will outshine him by a mile this time round now hes got that 1st season under his belt -would have Thurston,Jennings and gi but as for the rest of the oz team I would struggle to find a place for any in a current world side daryl clark will soon have overtaken cam smith as the worlds best 9 and nrl sides should be moving mountains to get him over there.
