Worst brain explosion of the year candidate?

Why the hell would Brandy favour the feather dusters? Isn't he a Penrith boy? One of their favourite sons, and the key player in their first Grand Final win?

The feather dusters are firming as wooden spoon favourites every week. And providing much mirth and merriment to fans of other teams along the way.

A word to NQ supporters: you should all be buying lottery tickets. Twice this year a team has looked likely to pinch a game from under your noses, only for a player to panic instead of taking the tackle. You can't keep dodging those bullets forever. :D

f**k off you twig.

Our four best players missing and we still won, probably our win of the year.

You are really giving St George supporters a good name with that sort of sh*t.

Alexander would be mates with Fittler. I actually like commentators who don't stay on the fence!!!

Well done Brandy!!!

He is also mates with pearce senior so undoubtedly was cheeri g for his mates son.

Also canard, if your team's "win of the year" is against the stone motherless last basket case of the league, you are in a bit of trouble.

Could this comment also be classified as a brain explosion? Talk about an overreaction!

This is your bye weekend. Fans of just about any other club would be relaxing and enjoying the fact their team is on top of the ladder....but not some Saints fans. We all realise, you are desperate to finally win a Premiership, but.... Is the pressure, so unbearable, that you need to pick fights with fans of a team that the Dragons lost against? There is still about 3 months to go in the season....how are you going to last?

As for that last comment "eat a dick". Really....grow up!

Congratulations for getting lucky against a team with 8 players backing up from the night before and then against the wooden spoon favourites who were missing more players than you were.

Anyway, back on topic. I would argue Pearce's brain snap wasn't as bad as Dell's last week. The feather dusters were chasing the game with only a couple of minutes left - you can forgive the odd brain snap in that situation. We were well on top last week, and Dell's snap gave the cowgirls a sniff they didn't deserve at that point in the match as they were being completely dominated. I know Dell's shocker last week pissed me off ten times more than Prior's pass over the sideline.

Agreed, he had no choice, he needed to try and keep it alive, otherwise ball would've been in touch. In the end the result was basically the same.

He could have easily run back inside. It was a shocking decision to push that pass that wasn't on ie: a low percentage glory play. Had he played the ball the roosters should have had 100 men on the left side of the field.

I wrote that at 3am after a gutful of piss, but the point still stands.

I dont mind critical analysis, but your just being a merkin about it.

In the context of the season and with the players we had missing that was an awesome win.

Roosters were favourites to win, we apparently cant win without Thurston and Bowen.

Your giving St George Fans a bad name by being bitter about something that happened weeks ago.

f**k me that would be like me dragging up when that fat merkin Piggy Riddell scored a try against us then ran into the stands sat down and clapped his own effort. f**k me if that happened the other way St George fans would still be whinging about what a disrespectful merkin he was.

You make your own luck in this game.

Mitchell Pearce is the most protected species among the commentary teams... says a lot for the respect his father is held in I suppose.

Mitchell Pearce kicks out of the full: "Oh, he had the angle right and was ever so close to pulling off a perfect kick"
Cowboys nuffie kicks out on the full: "What a terrible kick there by Watts. His team will rue that opportunity"

As for ruining the 80m break, he should have just either:
a) taken the tackle with five more tackles in enemy territory
b) taken the tackle and gone for the quick play the ball and possibly earnt a penalty
c) kicked ahead for himself or the support player, forcing Williams to change direction and having a better chance of a try than his overhead pass

Truly cost his team their shot at that game. Overrated.

A word to braindead Saints fans ...
Cowboy fans have seen their team in a GF this century, can't say the same for Stg/ILL fans.

At least they managed to beat them... :sarcasm:
