Perhaps the fact that Greg Bird had been charged could play a part, possibly?

Funny how the golden rule is you say nothing until you make a statement via a lawyer ...and the Broncos have already given their version and description of what happend released in the papers today ..NEWS - BRoncos-screwing with the public.
Girl gets paid a handsome amount and walks away rich and the footy players live on.
One thing about the Bronco's they have always gotten away with Murder for a long time ......The Bulldogs have nothing on these blokes. One day ina book the truth will be told.

Greg Bird's incident is very different and no comparisons can be drawn between this one and that.

The Bird/Milligan event had physical evidence, both of them tried to decieve police, and whether or not it was an accident is up to the courts to decide.

The incident with the 3 drongos, oops, I mean broncos, is a straight up he said she said case. Its her word against theirs as to whether she said no when they were photographing her.

Greg Bird would have been stood down by the NRL had the Sharks not acted first.
The NRL cannot stand down Boyd, Hunt or Thaiday BUT the Brisbane club can if they so choose to.

He may have been charged, but the victim has said it was an accident. Speculate on that all you want.

In this case though, the victim is crying rape.

Sacked, not dropped.

If the reports are true, it's ironic that she was happy to f**k them yet when they start filming it's suddenly assault?

Bizarre.

If Kate Milligan had said "throw that glass at me Greg" but then went to police to complain that he threw it too hard, we could then compare the cases.

No proof of anything what is alleged actually happen also

Bird hasn't been found guilty and his alleged victim says Bird didn't do anything wrong. The alleged victim in the Broncos case says they did do something.

At this stage both are alleged only, as it is unless milligan testifies for the prosecution they have no case and the police have gone off half cocked without interviewing her before pressing charges.

So theoretically the qld police could charge the broncos players based on the fact the alleged victim has given a statement.

If they could convict bird without an alleged victim statement, then why could they not convict the broncos players with an alleged victims statement.

In the end both are only alleged and it is unfair that bird cannot play whilst the broncos players can.

If not they are the same as Melbourne, no integrity at all. Walk with me, will you ?

They showed Julian O'Neill the door in 1995 after he allegedly urinated on the carpet while playing blackjack at Jupiter's Casino to last year's dismissals of utilities Ian Lacey and John Te Reo for repeated alcohol-related offences, they've adopted a firm stand.

Current Canberra forward Neville Costigan felt Brisbane's wrath in 2006 after driving his car to get a hamburger while still under the influence of alcohol.

Likewise Brett Seymour, currently playing for Cronulla, was punted for his involvement in a nightclub incident.

Bruno is all talk and no action.
