Would International progress assist domestic comps ?

If the game grew and grew Internationally to the point that several semi-professional competitions were founded across the globe - would this impact of the state of the domestic comps of Engalnd, France and New Zealand ?

Basically does / can international expansion help buid the game in existing long term markets ?

the question should be if the biggest RL playing nation doesn't treat intetnational RL with the respect it deserves.....why should the smallest/newest???
