wow... is Michael Angelo/Batio a fake?

I have seen a bit of this dude and whilst his stuff may not be that nice all the time his technical brilliance is entertaining.

I have a couple of his DVDs and they are generally pieced together, the sound plays and each scene change he is using a different guitar etc.....so its not truely live is what im saying.

Anyway his camp has released this clip on you tube after many complaints that his stuff is not played in 1 take and is an edited thing and people even accuse them of speeding up parts.

So this you tube video is called prog. live, uncut,unedited, uncensored to show him playing in 1 take and that the video is really him playing with no trickery.

So I watched with intrest only to notice something not quite right at about the 1:45 second mark where he does his hand over and under the neck trick.....notes sound when his hand is in mid air and doesnt quite match what he is doing IMO. I think they have faked part of this vid.

Would be interested to see your thoughts on this as I know a lot of live stuff is 'enhanced' but this was upposed to be a vid to show him unedited.

dunno about the guitar playing being fake ....but that hair looks pretty sus.

IMO if he is miming he is doing a good job.
There is probably heaps of other guitar stuff going on in the backing track.

Ill see if I can find clips from his other vids where the audio synch is fantastic even though its impossible that it is the same thing as the guitar changes and his clothes mid song several times.

They do a very good job and keeping everything in check.

i hadnt really thought of a 2nd guitar in the backing track ..... possibly whats happening but in the part I highlighted something is sus.
