London Broncos have released Troy Wozniak from the club, with the Australian back rower leaving their Dubai training camp with immediate effect.
The 25-year-old signed a three-year contract with the club only a month ago, and had been a part of their training camp.

But the former Parramatta Eels and Wests Tigers back rower has now been released after a month in camp with the Broncos in the Middle East.

"Troy will no longer be a part of the Dubai set-up and he has been released by the club," said chief executive Nic Cartwright, in a statement on the club's official website.

Kevin Campion did something similar a few years back after leaving the Brisbane Broncos to join an English club. Maybe he not a fan of English weather, even from Dubai

I dunno but Wozniak hasn't done anything controversial in the past, not that I'm saying he hasn't done something now. Homesickness might have been another factor. We won't know until more details are given.

Well it looks like Wozniak has signed with Widnes because Bill Peden is staying on with the Broncos which would give the them one too many overseas players if Wozniak stayed.

Makes you wonder why then they signed Wozza in the 1st place if he was gunna put em over. Unless of course Peden indicated he was finishing up and then had a change of heart. I'd say theres more to this than we're hearing.
