Amazing to have a second year in a row with the events youngest winner.

To come back from 2 million in chips at the final table to winning is incredible.

Darvin Moon seemed on Tilt at the end or just way too tired because his last few hands were horrible. All in on a Draw like that with so much on the line? Jeebus!

thats how he was playing most the heads up... if cada was betting 3 mill, moon would throw out 30 and cada was folding until he had j 9 for his life thats when he turned it around and didn't stop

I think Darvin realised he wasnt the better player and the best way to win was to take skill out of the equation.

Make each hand a race and hope to get lucky.

I only caught the start of it and I saw he was quite short stacked then. Top effort on coming back. Does anyone know how Ivey went in the end? I'm pretty sure this the Main Event Champion is one of the very few titles that has eluded him...

Ivey got busted by AQ when holding AK. Wasn't getting cards and went for a double up so he could start playing and cops a horrible beat.

Cada sucked out a few times to get chipped up. Lucky Bastard.

Just finished watching the final table. I was hoping Cada would win after Ivey was eliminated, but f**k me he played horrible and sucked out. His all in with pocket 3's and pocket 2's were atrocious.

It was lucky but he was always going to push with any pockets being so short stacked

A bit behind the times but I just finished watching the tournament on fox. Moon is the luckiest person you are ever likely to see, through the entire thing he hit card after card while the likes of Ivey struggled to hit anything at any stage. In the end it was some luck for Cada, particularly with his 2's that got him home.

I hadn't watched a poker tournament covered like that before on tv. Very enjoyable to watch and don't the crowds get into it.

I will keep an eye out for it. How long do you have to wait for the final table to start once they get to that stage?

The commentators are pretty good although the more amusing one does bang on about ex wifes a bit much.. oh, and about his love for Ivey.

Well the WSOP goes for almost 2 months and the main event about 10 days, but once they reach the final table they break for about 3-4 months and come back in November.

Most of the coverage runs about a month behind but the final table is televised just hours after the actual event.

Ok.. I enjoyed watching it continuously without the break how ever now i play on line and go to different poker related places it wll probably be hard to not find out who wins prior to seeing it.

Plenty of mates over there either playing or covering - doing well so far.

One finished second in the Venetian Deep Stack a few days ago for well over $100K. Not a bad score.

Hey Hevy, looks like there is a chance for a record amount of players (doubt they can beat 2006).

Biggest ever second day today, which is normally the quietest.

Hey Hevy, have I seen you over on PokerNetwork forums???

I lurk a bit over there just for reading??

Yeah I post there quite a bit.

Numbers look decent this year but they definitely won't beat 2006.

Ever since the online gaming legislation was introduced in the States a few years back the numbers have dropped significantly.

Still, somewhere close to 6000 would be pretty impressive.

Yeah that killed off all the qualifiers people could enter??

Geez 6000+ is impressive though, especially with a 10k buy in!!!

Living in Townsville apart from APL and a few other pub poker games there are NO cash tourneys run. There is the casino ring game but I'd rather pay $110 and play with 5k chips then simply get into $500 flips with players that can afford to keep rebuying.

I am heading to Brisbane for two weeks end of July for some work stuff, any idea where there are some good tourneys to play in without the free poker duds?

Best off asking someone on PokerNetwork mate - I couldn't tell you much about the Brisbane poker scene (although I've heard some funny stories about playing at the Casino there).
