It is actually marketing to a brand market.

The caps are very high quality and are trying to get into that American baseball cap market.

A high end Yankees cap costs alot more than $60.

They do not plan to sell many but it is about branding in the long run

seems all the xblades teams have em. as the sharks and knights are selling em too.

I bought a Yankees cap @ a Yankees game in 2008 and it cost me US$22

Considering that members get a $20 discount it really isnt too bad. I plan to get one next year myself.
