The Intercontinental Championship match has been pulled.

Possibly the right move, it's too soon for Morrison and Ziggler to go at it.

Very small card, back in the day it used to be 9 or 10 matches populating a ppv. My ppv results picking has been that far off lately, wouldn't be surprised if i got every one wrong.

Predictions:

WWE I Quit Championship Match
John Cena vs. Randy Orton (c)

Winner: John Cena, I don't think considering the persona that the WWE is trying to generate that John Cena is a quitter.

World Heavyweight Submission Championship Match
The Undertaker vs. CM Punk (c)

Winner: CM Punk, I can't see the title changing in thee straight ppvs.

ECW Championship Match
William Regal vs. Christian (c)

Winner: Christian, i can't see regal becoming the headline act for ecw.

WWE Unified Tag Team Championship Match
Montel Vontavious Porter and Mark Henry vs. Chris Jericho and The Big Show (c)

Winner: Y2J/Big Show

Submission Counts Anywhere Tag Team Match
Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase Jr. vs. Triple H and Shawn Michaels

Winner: Legacy, just getting that feeling

Singapore Cane Match
Kane vs. The Great Kahli

Winner: Khali, winning the token second ppv retribution match.

My predictions

WWE I Quit Championship Match

John Cena vs. Randy Orton (c)

Winner: Orton. He will handcuff Cena to the bottom rope and threaten to kick a fan (most likely a kid) in the head if he doesn't quit

World Heavyweight Submission Championship Match
The Undertaker vs. CM Punk (c)

Winner: Taker, can't see him tapping

ECW Championship Match
William Regal vs. Christian (c)

Winner: Christian, the only ECW star I can see beating him is Kozlov

WWE Unified Tag Team Championship Match
Montel Vontavious Porter and Mark Henry vs. Chris Jericho and The Big Show (c)

Winner: Jerishow, I can't see MVP and Henry as tag champs

Submission Counts Anywhere Tag Team Match
Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase Jr. vs. Triple H and Shawn Michaels

Winner: Legacy, I can't see them jobbing out to DX twice, well actually I can, but I just think they'll get this one

Singapore Cane Match
Kane vs. The Great Kahli

Winner: Khali, Kane won last time

WWE Unified Tag Team Championship Match

Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase Jr. vs. Triple H and Shawn Michaels

WWE I Quit Championship Match
John Cena vs. Randy Orton (c)

Winner: As much as I hate to see it, I can only see John Cena winning here. I'm not sure if we've seen the last of Brett DiBiase, though. The stipulation does specify that Orton only drops the gold if Legacy are involved. Brett 'aint a Legacy member as of yet.

World Heavyweight Submission Championship Match
The Undertaker vs. CM Punk (c)

Winner: It would be a huge rub to have Undertaker tapping out to Anaconda Vice, and it would cement Punk as a perennial main eventer. I want it to happen, but I can't see it. Undertaker wins.

ECW Championship Match
William Regal vs. Christian (c)

Winner: Time for Regal and his empire to triumph. Frees up Christian to move elsewhere.

WWE Unified Tag Team Championship Match
Montel Vontavious Porter and Mark Henry vs. Chris Jericho and The Big Show (c)

Winner: If MVP/Henry win here, I will be shocked. It's too soon to be slapping the belts on them. Drag the feud out, have MVP/Henry win down the line, and free up Jericho to feud with Punk or Undertaker.

Submission Counts Anywhere Tag Team Match
Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase Jr. vs. Triple H and Shawn Michaels

Winner: Give Legacy the win they need to keep the feud interesting.

Singapore Cane Match
Kane vs. The Great Kahli

Winner: God, who cares? Kane?

I believe this is terrible concept.

Why couldn't the WWE stick with Unforgiven? If they wanted to include a submission match, they could've easily implemented it in the storyline which by the by have been god awful in that...there haven't been any storylines...

BREAK IT DOWN!

What are Orton/Cena fighting over? Just the WWE Championship? C'mon! These two are meant to be the biggest face and heel combo in the WWE yet the best they could come up with was...was...this? I mean Rhodes/Orton feuded more than Orton/Cena who have only had the odd run-in here and there. C'mon!

Unless Legacy pull the fast one on DX I cannot see this match serving any purpose other than giving the fans a quick 'laugh'. Again, why couldn't DX move on? Will the WWE surprise us and give Legacy a win? I doubt it.

JeriShow vs. Henry/MVP should be a solid match but again it followed the WWE text book for tag team feuds. C'mon boys get creative!

Alright alright, I'll be fair for just a second. Taker/Punk has been solid, again nothing new in terms of Taker feuds but at least it's solid and yes I can understand the reasoning for this match taking place when it did. However, WTF is up with the stipulation?! C'mon! How are we supposed to believe CM Punk is going to win against Taker in a Submission Match when Taker has barely tapped? It's as if the WWE dove straight into the deep end and decided to throw the stipulation match straight away. It's going to be interesting to see the WWE tries to get out of this one without the WWE Championship looking like a parcel at a kids birthday party.

Kane/Kahli in a Cane match...yeah...enough said.

The best booked feud has been Regal/Christian. Honestly, I'm not joking, the booking, the promotion and the storyline for this feud has been nothing but solid if not good for the past three weeks with Regal forming his Round Table of hosses. It makes Christian look in danger and Regal a credible threat, which is something he deserves.

Complaints:

Where's the US Championship? Why isn't Kofi feuding with somebody like Swagger or one of the Legacy boys? Surely that would have some appeal.

Thank you Mysterio for screwing with the IC Title scene. Morrison went from awesome to bland in the space of a couple of months. Still a great in-ring worker but his character has lost it's edge.

No diva matches? Hmmm...okay that isn't a complaint, I'm just surprised.

CM Punk needs to win or 'not quit' and pass out. It makes him look badass and gives Undertaker the ego stroke he so sorely needs when returning from one of his tri yearly hiatuses.

Legacy need to win somehow. DX going over twice in a row does Legacy no good, unless they are going to win the feud in the end. And I just can't picture Shawn Michaels and/or Triple H agreeing to that, no matter how much they like the guys or how good it is for the business. Hell, have the Hart Dynasty get involved and give us a Montreal Screwjob style finish. That would be awesome.

How is it that Kane/Khali was kept on the card ahead of Morrison Ziggler? And now they've added Kingston/Miz and it's had even less build.

Regal needs to win, or else his lackeys run the risk of becoming Ryder and Hawkins on a larger scale. Speaking of Ryder - he's looked awesome lately.

JeriShow need to go over. If they want to make Henry/MVP a permanent team, that's fine. They can feud for the belts for a while and then move on to feuding with Legacy or making a new Nation of Domination or something. That would rock.

Cena will win. It's probably time. I'm not a fan, and I prefer Orton, but Randy's reign has gone completely off the rails. He isn't nearly as intimidating or badass as he was when he was chasing the gold.

I think they are a few years late with the concept of a PPV. Back when you had guys with genuine submission finishers like Angle and Benoit, this would make for a great PPV. Everyone just seemed to be slapping in a figure four or a sharpshooter over the past couple of weeks. All submission finishers these days are in for under 5 seconds before the opponent taps out, when they are in for longer (like they use to be) and you are thinking "will he tap or get to the ropes" it is far more exciting. I just hope that Punk keeps his Anaconda Vice and all the others keep their submission finishers beyond this PPV.

I thought the point of every match was to win by submission, or other predetermined methods such as i quit.

The Undertaker defeated CM Punk with the Hells Gate...

Or did he?

Teddy Long reminded everybody that the Hells Gate submission was banned and called the match back on.

Punk reversed the Last Ride into the Anaconda Vice and Scott Armstrong rang the bell.

CM Punk defeated The Undertaker

So the question is...

Did Long screw The Undertaker?

Or did Taker screw Taker?

That is awesome Punk got up.

Truely awesome. I hope they run a decent angle between the two now rather than just closing out each show with Taker showing up.

Excellent results across the board. Legacy go over clean. CM Punk gets a Montreal screwjob style win over Undertaker.

Love it.

I'm at work so can someone tell me how Legacy beat DX?

Why did Teddy do this? Are they going to play off the fact his was Takers manager 20 years ago in WCW

I'd order this ppv tonight but I just bought the 6th season of curb your enthusiasm and the rise and fall of wcw so no time to watch it! Might have to download it later..

Rhodes and DiBiase both locked in submission holds on HBK around the ring-post while Triple H was laid out on the ramp.

Why did Teddy do this?

Could be that this was his reaction to Vince's demand that he 'impress him'. I mean, Montreal was Vince's greatest moment...

Ah yes I forgot about that with Teddy.

The Legacy finish sounds badass also. When was the last time he tapped I wonder?
