First and for most this post contains SD spoilers, don't read any further as I'm about to reveal the SD main event for Extreme Rules.

Personally, not a fan of these WWE hangover PPVs and I generally consider this my offseason from the WWE. Retreading through old feuds just does little for me and while some of these PPVs have garnered a reputation for putting on quality matches and sometimes better shows than their Mania counterparts (2009 comes to mind), those loose promises are never enough to get me to invest in these shows.

I expect to see a card featuring...

Cena/Miz II
ADR/Edge II
King/Cole II
Orton/Punk II
Mysterio/Rhodes II
Sin Cara/Sheamus

Out of all those, I'm only looking forward to Cara/Sheamus which I think can tear the house down if Sheamus can lead the match right and ADR/Edge could be good if they go all out, which is something I didn't feel at Mania.

If it was up to me, the card would look like...

HHH/Miz
ADR/Christian/Edge
Ziggler/Cena
Dibiase Jr./Orton
Morrison/Punk
Cara/Sheamus
Mysterio/Barrett
Rhodes/Kingston
Truth and Curtis/Slater and Gabriel

Probably one too many matches, but always better to have too many than have too few right?

Personally, I find that card fresh, logical and it gets the ball rolling for the next few months. Feeling bummed that I can't get Bryan on the card but I would remedy that with a brand shift to Smackdown where he can feud with the likes of McIntyre, Rhodes, Barrett and eventually ADR.

This should be renamed "Wrestlemania Reloaded: Now with weapons" as the matches will be near identical, just with weapons involved.

This guy won season 4 of NXT? I stopped watching after 2-3 weeks but figured he'd be out quickly. Unless he improved out of sight after that he was the worst of the rookies. I just kind of assumed Brodus won the season as he was a regular on Smackdown and Curtis hasn't been on TV since it ended.

I reckon HHH/Miz is the only real option Raw has right now. Orton/Miz, Cena/Miz has been done so HHH makes sense but I guess we will have to sit through a Cena/Miz rematch first.

There is a worryingly low number of quality heels on Raw right now. If Cena were to win the title (presumably to be screwed by Rock at some stage later this year) I have no idea who he would feud with. The only real option is CM Punk which was done last year.

He's fairly mediocre and basically won NXT because he needed the win more than Brodus who has it all over him.

Most of that class was fairly mediocre.

I gave up when the rookies realised it was all for sh*ts and giggles. I just assumed Brodus or Bryan's rookie would have won.

NXT has been a waste of time since the second season. The first season had it's positives, it introduced Bryan to a mainstream audience, took Miz to another level and was the basis of the Nexus angle.

That's not to say the second season was terrible, I just didn't think it had any long term ramifications. Kaval didn't even last an entire year and cashed in his title shot for an IC title match..., Husky Harris who had some great chemistry with Rhodes was brought in as a generic heel alongside McGuillicutty.

It maybe surprising to hear this, but Curtis was definitely the most ready to make the step up. He had a terrible debut but he got better over time and started to show the kind of skill that saw him booked as one of the best contestants on the show. Bateman showed the most improvement and had the best rookie match on the show against Bryan (best match that season would be Bryan/Dibiase Jr.) but there are some areas of his work that he needs to improve on.

Clay has the most unique look, impressive qualifications, (second gen. wrestler, celebrity affiliation etc.) talent and mic. skills out of them and like Bryan didn't need to win the show to be over.

Back on topic and it sounds very likely that we will see Cena/Miz II. Apparently on Raw Cena said he didn't want to see The Miz in a ring again which would make you assume he wouldn't want to have a rematch but on his twitter he said he'd meet The Miz on Monday. These two can definitely put on a better match, one of the issues with the Mania match was the finish that derailed all the momentum they'd built up in those final 5 minutes but I'm really not keen to see them engage in a program. I wouldn't even mind Cena taking some time off this year to keep him fresh for the Mania feud with The Rock.

perhaps a 2/3 falls match or something.

after watching Smackdown, it's
Christian vs Alberto Del Rio for the vacant WHC

I wouldn't mind Alberto winning as long as they had Christian win it at SummerSlam.

Now that would be a feel good moment.

I can see Christian winning off an Edge interference, have DR about to win it, then Edge run out and push the ladder over and have Christian take it out. Smackdown needs a new face. Apart from Christian and Rey there will be no top faces for Del Rio to feud with if he was to win the title here.

If Del Rio doesn't win it here his whole build up from the Rumble onwards is wasted and was really pointless.

With all the retirement hoopla I doubt Edge will make an appearance so soon after, he needs to disappear for a while now.
