Thread to discuss the hall of fame inductees for this year. First one was announced on Raw this week it was "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase Snr

in my opinion this is one that's long overdue, probably one of the top 5 heels of all time. Also I think he's one of the best wrestlers to never hold a World title.

2010 Inductees named so far
The Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase
Antonio Inoki
Wendi Richter

Was involved in one of the great storylines pertaining to buying the belt off Andre after he beat Hogan with the help of one of the Hebner refs.

Let us not forget that he financed the NWO - Lock, Stock and Barrell.

He nearly bought Hulkamania in his first couple of weeks (before he bought Andre).

Dibiase was absolutely miles ahead of any heel going round at the moment, definitely an inspired choice.

Incidentally, he was as good a wrestler as Brett hart or anyone.

I must say though, i could have sworn that he was inducted into the hall of fame either the year before or the year after he inducted Sensational Sherri into it. PLus, there was the whole son of hall of famers angle Ted Dibiase was mentioned in for the last year or two. Is it possible that Vince McMahon forgot to read the list of HOFs before this years nominations? Or that the Million Dollar man bought his way in, twice?

he was awesome. The bit where he gets some kid to bounce a basketball 15 times to win money and then he kicks the ball away on the 14th bounce is legendary. his laugh always makes me laugh, his charisma is amazing. One of the best Managers of all time as well as one of the great wrestlers. Go Ted!

Surprising to hear Wendi Richter's name, given she left the WWF in very acrimonious circumstances following this:

The Original Screwjob

In 1985, after losing and then regaining the title from rival Leilani Kai at the inaugural WrestleMania, Richter was scheduled to defend her women's title at Madison Square Garden on November 25 of that same year against a mysterious masked opponent known only as The Spider Lady.[1] Moments into the match, The Spider Lady broke from the pre-scripted events and pinned Richter's shoulders to the mat. The referee—who was in on the plan—delivered a swift three count, despite Richter kicking out after a count of one.[12] Richter ignored the bell and continued to attack the Spider, unmasking the new champion to reveal that it was The Fabulous Moolah in disguise.[12]
It was reported that the plan to rid Richter of the title was concocted by WWF Chairman Vince McMahon, who brought in Moolah after Richter refused to sign a new contract with the WWF.[12] Richter, however, claims she was still under her original five year contract, but that she regularly had disagreements with McMahon about her compensation.[13] She also claims that when she arrived at the arena that day, she was surprised to find Moolah backstage, as she never showed up to events for which she was not scheduled to wrestle.[13] After the match, an infuriated Richter left the arena in her wrestling gear, took a cab to the airport, and booked herself on a flight out of New York.[13] Afterward, she never spoke to either McMahon or Moolah again.[13]

If I was to nominate a chick that I thought McMahon would never have in the Hall of Fame, it'd be her or Madusa.
