after 24 games we had 11 wins 11 loses and 2 draws and we were in 9th position we had to beat newcastle and melbourne at home and we needed things to go our way to make the 8. Thats the closest we have been in our 4 year history but i really think we can beat that and get up this year starting with the broncos knock them off and who knows. But its looking good

oh and i found that dene halatau was playing fullback in flegg that year :shock:..... and nick bradley was 5/8 :lol:

Halatau was probably a light weight then.

Dunley sucks. He was one of Balmain's many half backs throughout the 90's.

Gray Viane and Willie Manu and Luke Duffy were in the Magpies Jersey Flegg Grand Final team that were Runner's up to the Bulldogs that year also. Probably some other juniors that are now in 1st Grade as well.
