SCOTT MacDougall, younger brother of rugby league Test winger Adam, has fled from a drug test at a first division match, Sydney radio station 2UE has reported.
MacDougall, playing for the Central Coast Bears, was approached by Australian Sports Drug Agency (ASDA) representatives after the match against Canberra but ran from the scene, jumping a fence to avoid being tested. ASDA and the NSW rugby league would not comment on specifics but did confirm an incident had occurred. MacDougall is expected to face a mandatory two-year ban for avoiding the test. In 1998 Adam MacDougall received an 11-match ban for being found guilty of using a banned stimulant while later that year another MacDougall brother, Ben, received a 22-match ban after pleading guilty to using an anabolic agent.

Yes, I heard... it'll be interesting to hear the excuses...

"I saw a bloke who owed me money"
"I saw a bloke who I owed money to"
"I just wanted some fresh air" or,
"I wasfilthy on 'roids and decided to make a dash for it... doh!"

All it proves to me is that he can jump higher, run faster and has a better sidestep than the coves carrying the piss bottles.
Maybe he was just going for a leak behind a shrub, however ten minutes later it was a f**king great tree and the piss bottle carriers couldn't find him.Probably just on blood'n'bone.

Central Coast Bears have said that they have given up on Scott MacDougall who apparently has failed to return their calls.

Although he belatedly submitted a test which was negative, he still faces a two year ban for fleeing from testers.

MacDougalliscertain to facethe tribunal next Wednesday by himself after Central Coast officials, Dave Warwick, Greg Florimo and David Fairleigh all tried to speak to him but to no avail.

"..we've got better things to do now than chase up on a bloke like that", Warwick said.
