One thing i have realised in the short time i have been on this forum is the varying ages of the people posting on here and i thought it would be interesting for all age groups to put together their top 17 or best 17 team to take the field put together of players they have seen play from their era watching the game.Players wouldn't have to play in their preferred positions just what you think would make a great team.Their are obviously no correct answers,everyone will have differing opinions,but i thought it would be interesting.I am 43 years old and their are many great players that i could name but i did not get to see them play.For example from what my father told me about Reg Gasnier their is no player i could name on this list that would even be able to tie his boot laces, he was that good , but i didn't get to see him play so i didn't include him.
