I'll agree with this one! However it is more of a 1990 rematch :)

I have visited the future and know my predictions will come true. ;-)

One thing is 100% sure though ... we are in for one of the closest finals series on record! Geez I love this time of the year!!

Week I
Raiders v Storm (The Raiders have so many injuries so I did a coin toss. This will be a very close game)
Bulldogs v Warriors (The warriors are very tough)
Roosters v Knights (The Roosters will kill 'em)
Panthers v Broncos (Thats if penrith keep good defence)

Week II
Bulldogs v Storm (The dogs will pull through)
Canberra v Warriors (another coin toss)

Week III
Roosters v Raiders (Yet ANOTHER coin toss)
Panthers v Bulldogs (If Penrith keep up their defence)

Grand Final
Raiders v's Panthers (coin toss)

The Raiders are a great teams but with injuries they can go either way.

I put my money on us to win in January when we were 61-1 and worse odds than Manly

$25 = $1525

Week 1
Raiders vs Storm- Storm, they beat the raiders too easily in both their matches this year. Confident Green Machine fans would perhaps dismiss those results as two of their off games for the season but I really think the Storm have the edge in this match-up.
Bulldogs vs Warriors- Should be the match of the round, I think the Bulldogs will win but Warriors are capable of an upset.
Roosters vs Knights- Roosters comfortably although maybe not by a cricket score.
Penrith vs Broncos- The Broncos will prove a big challenge to the panthers but I think their attack will fall flat again and will lose by a small margin.

Week 2
Storm vs Warriors- Warriors finals experience to get them home.
Bulldogs vs Raiders- No upset from the Raiders this time.

Week 3
Roosters vs Bulldogs- Would be a huge game, toss of the coin but I'd back Roosters.
Penrith vs Warriors- Another toss of the coin, again the Warriors experience the key.

Week 4
Roosters vs Warriors- Warriors in an upset.

Week I
Canberra v Melbourne
Canterbury v Auckland
Sydney v Newcastle
Penrith v Brisbane

Week II
Auckland v Melbourne
Canberra v Canterbury

Week III
Auckland v Penrith
Sydney v Canterbury

Grand Final
Auckland v Canterbury

I hope that is right in terms of who plays who.

Does anybody else find it annoying when everyone in the media says 'the top 2 get a second life' when really it is the top 2 losers get a second life. If the games went according to the seeding ie 1-4 wins then teams 5&6 get the second life.

It's damn near impossible to try and explain the McIntyre system to anyone who has never seen it in action before. The media will pick up on the 'certainties' to clarify their points ... and it is certain that the top two teams will still be alive after this week, win or lose. I guess that is what they are trying to say.

Week I
Canberra v Melbourne (Raiders to miss Croker badly)
Canterbury v Auckland ('Dogs won't be as flat as they were last week, Jones not fit enough)
Sydney v Newcastle (This will be VERY close, Sydney just)
Penrith v Brisbane (Beware the wounded Bronco, especially with nothing to lose, Panther cubs to get stage fright)

Week II

Brisbane v Canberra (Broncos will of spent their last penny the week before)
Melbourne v Penrith (Storm too experienced with up to 5 players already with an NRL ring)

Week III

Canterbury v Melbourne ('Dogs too big, too strong, too fast)
Sydney v Canberra (Roosters have Raiders measure)

Week IV

Canterbury v Roosters (Canterbury - too much to win for, Fittler a passenger by now if he lasts this long)

Bulldogs v Warriors - Cantebury
Roosters v Knights - Newcastle (upset)
Panthers v Broncos - Penrith

Knights v Storm - Newcastle (just)
Raiders v Roosters - Canberra

Bulldogs v Raiders - Cantebury (It'll be a very close game, probably extra time)
Panthers v Knights - Penrith

Penrith v Cantebury

Week 1
--------------
Canberra v Melbourne - Melbourne (Two similar styles this year - Melbourne have fit first choice halves though)

Canterbury v Auckland - Doggies
Sydney v Newcastle - Roosters
Penrith v Brisbane - With the Panthers' form and the Broncos' finals experience, this one is just too hard to pick.

After this, I can't remember how the McIntyre system works anyway so I'll just name a grand final winner and at this stage I'll have to say the Bulldogs - although this will depend on the Roosters and how fit Fittler stays and also how Fitzgibbon goes in his return.

The Knights love being underdogs so i'm glad hardly anyone is tipping us.
I may be the only one who remembers but during last years finals series when we lost Johns vs the Dragons, we had no time to prepare and Gidley had hardly any experience. Now remember how the next week we stuck with the Roosters for 60 minutes? This year we are playing a hell of a lot better without Joey, Kurt has another year (and last years finals) under his belt and the Roosters aren't playing as well as they were last year. We will win, oh yes, it will be so!

BTW This is my 1st post, soooo hiya. :D
