The Tooheys Illawarra League lost the fastest player in the competition when Wests Illawarra Winger (5) Adam Luchetti decided to move north in 2006 and play Rugby League with the Redcliffe Dolphins. Luchetti was the highest 'try' scorer in '05 when he scored 24 tries for the season.......on one occassion scoring 5 tries against arch rivals, the Dapto Canaries. Over the past 4 years he has consistently outsprinted and outstepped all who would challenge his blinding pace. Believed to able to run at sub 11 his pace is compared to the likes of Brett Stewart and Scott Donald of the Manly Sea Eagles club.

He is also very handy with the boot having kicked occassionally for West's Illawarra when the designated 'kicker' was injured. On one occassion kicking 7 from 9 in one game. He is a committed athlete who can play the mighty game of rugby League.

Good luck Dolphins. We are sure he will serve you well in the QRL Competition.
