Ponga was a good shout, struggling to think of anyone else to be honest. Has a few amazing games a year, is simply average/solid throughout the rest of the year but is considered one of the games best.

Also, Suaalii comes to mind, right now he's a good winger and has a bright future but people are already talking about million dollar fullback spots for him and a huge career in Rugby Union.

Only News Ltd and a few other nit wits in other media are talking that. I mean one of the biggest postulants of him being a million dollar player is Phil Rothfield. I mean do you think he has any credibility on stuff like this?

His fullback career is definitely going to have to wait. He has looked so far away from what Tedesco or Manu offer at fullback there's no justifying moving him.

Roosters have gotten lucky in that regard. If he killed it they would probably struggle to keep him.

With Suaalii, the Roosters are playing a long game with his development similar to what they did with RTS and Anthony Minichiello before him. Bring them into grade on the wing, have them get accustomed to it, and then look to move him closer to the ball. Thing is with Tedesco and Manu at the club, they don't have to rush things. Tedesco is 29, Manu is 26, whilst Suaalii is only 19. I dare say the next step will probably be to move Suaalii into the centres. He will probably though train with Tedesco, Manu and Mini (who still works for the Roosters iirc) to develop his skill and knowledge base to eventually fill the fullback spot.

Joseph Manu if you're looking for a fullback who creates for others.

Considering he's played a grand total of 15 games in that position, as opposed to 13 games on the wing, 6 at five eight, and 122 at centre that is no surprise. Manu is more of a ball runner than a ball player.
