Personally i think that your new buys are pretty ordinary.......i dont think they will prevent the tigers from getting close to the spoon in 04......what are your opinions....do you think the tigers could have bought better??

I think we did pretty well considering what was on the market. Much better than the likes of fui fui moi moi

I hate Todd Payten with a passion. That fat oaf will be exposed at the Tigers badly. Canberra were happy to get rid of him, even paying him to play for the Roosters. The only reason he looked good at the Roosters was because of the company he was in. Although I don't think the Tigers are paying him a cent (Raiders and Roosters are paying) he's more a liability on the field regardless. He's a Steve Trindall in the making. Guys like Small, Lima, Harper, Skandalis, Gibbs, Laffranchi etc would be better options by a mile. :x

I think the new players that were purchased were specific and straight to the point as Sheens seems to think these players will strengthen our weaknesses. Only time will tell i guess... :?

On the contrary EA,i do come here often for a looksi,there just isnt too much worth responding too.Much more happening at the official IMHO.

On our new buys,we havent done too bad IMHO.Definitely an improvement on the players we had last year.All the guys we have bough have had GF or SOO experience,you cant ask for more than that.

And I rate Payten,always have,I think he could be our smkey for the year.Looked very sharp at the Roosters.

Yeah, I'm quite upbeat about our signings too. Combined with the emergence of a few young blokes, 2004 could be a season to remember.

Nothing wrong with our signings in my mind. Anyone who suggest our side will do about as well as last year either (a)knows absolutely nothing about our club or (b) has started a revenge thread!

The 2004 tigers are a lot better than 2003. As Gobbso said and its a good point, we've strengthened our weaknesses up.

It was sad to lose Prince and quite frankly, I don't understand why we did get rid of him. Surely he would've done better than Berrigan at halfback.
