The American Youth Rugby League Association's Summer Program in Providence Has 133 Students Enrolled from Gilbert Stuart, Esek Hopkins and Nathaniel Greene Middle Schools. The Program Kick's off July 8th and goes through August 1st.

Any other USARL sides doing similar programs in their backyards mate?

WE are attempting to find a good system to plug into for each club. However it is difficult to run programs here in RI build those programs and try to start things up with other clubs 5 hrs away. The problem is #s and money. Right now this is all volunteer work thats going in. Sure we get a few thousand dollars here and there to run a program from a one off grant, but that doesnt last long when you factor in expenses.

We are working on it but need each clubs help at zeroing in on schools in there area that have after school programs similar to PASA or schools that would be willing to give league a shot.

MARFU (Mass Rugby Football Union) Is so dug in up there without boots on the ground finding good schools or the bosses to pitch... its hard to fly blind into a system....

So put us in touch with the director of a district or the head AD or a principal and we at AYRLA will pitch them and sell them.
