I backed him as a 2yo (Subscibe) & he flew home to win from a hopeless position to win, & i knew Loyd had a good one on his hands..

I was stunned when he sold it to Honkers..

The missus was lucky enough to meet Zabeel, her parents know Sir Patrick Hogan and Cambridge Stud is a few streets away from her old house. There was whispers that I mightve got the chance last time I was over in NZ but it never eventuated :-(

Tie the Knot was so underrated,mostly because it was a spaz in Melb(Apart from Underwood stakes victory and Cox Plate 2nd)

He won a listed race at 2 and then flew home for 4th in the sires at Flemington. Thought to myself thats the derby horse but i wondered what happened to him until i heard he did win the derby just in Honkers. they sold him for only 800k and he won over 15m US
