He went bad.... did nothing - Farrar got hammered!

They were up 10 blot early, (I missed the first try) but he hardly touched the ball. Then they didn't really have the ball in the second half and their opposition ran all over them. Summary of what he did:
Ran into a gap hard, but the pass went behind him.
Missed a tackle
"dropped" the ball near his line (it was clearly reefed, and the commentators agree!)
Missed a tackle
Had some confusion near his line with his winger over who would grab the ball and the opposition scored.

In all that he made a few tackles and a few hitups, but nothing spectacular. But he is certianly big, and looks very quick too.

He dropped 3 passes in the 1st half and made a number of mistakes in the 2nd. Thankgod we only signed him for 4 seasons.

He is 15.

90% of those kids are 17

I know some of you were being sarcastic but give the kids a chance, gezz

Can you imagine the outcry if Smith cut him due to people herev saying he is no good then he goes onto play Origin.

Exactly. He's either in year 9 or 10 at school playing against one of the best rugby league schools in the country against guys that are in Year 12.
To even make the side at his age is a great achievment but he is touted as one of the best in the side.

I know in my school boys side this year we only had guys from year 11 and 12.

If that happened Hurri, we'd have no players

Yeah, but I bet that if Russ was to struggle for a little while even as long as 2 years which will still only bring him to 17 then Parra cut him and he joins another side and goes onto being a very good player the same people who called for Russ' head while he was struggling would come on here and give it to Smith/Fitzgerald or whoever was responsible for not sticking with Zach

Wille Tonga is a prime example

While he wasn't going that well & struggling with D and Parra had Lyon & Vaealiki people called for his head as soon as he goes elsewhere and gets better also Lyon leaves & Vaealiki gets injured people call for Smith's sacking.

Brett Hodgson while he was struggling with injury and demading 250K a year & Parra only offer 150K so he goes to the Tigers where he gets 250K people at the time said good move as soon as Hodgson re-gains for and stays injury free the same people call it a stupid move (NOTE: ONE OF THESE PEOPLE WAS RAY HADLEY)

Bah- Hodgson will be injured all next year and for every single season he plays for the Tigers from now on (they didn't make the 8 anyway!)

We can't judge Russ on one game - at least he LOOKS talented! Give him another year or two and I reckon we'll see a pretty handy player!
