The club could spend a bit of money and fly over a day earlier than usual. We need to try something different.

Just on this, I heard something interesting in the news when the AFL announced that new pay and work conditions deal with the players. It had something in there to help WA teams with their travel commitments. Not sure exactly what it was but it sounded relevant to NZ and the NRL.
